McKinsey International College, Toronto:
Located in Toronto, east-central Canada, McKinsey International College provides ESL programs including basic and academic English as well as test preparation for TOEFL, TOEIC and IELTS. Our curriculum is focused on communication to help students improve their listening, speaking and pronunciation skills. Programs can be booked as intensive or part-time courses. Core ESL Program:
McKinsey’s core ESL program focuses on taking students from a Basic through to an Advanced level of proficiency. Each day is divided into skill areas to focus the curriculum for better results and faster progress. Courses can be booked as intensive or part-time courses.

The Basics:
This course provides basic vocabulary building and development of simple language structures to help international students and newcomers to Canada gain confidence in speaking English, and living in Canada. Our curriculum is focused on communication to help students improve their listening, speaking and pronunciation skills.

Academic English:
For students interested in pursuing study at the College or University levels, this course trains students for lecture based instruction, provides an intensive review of grammar, improves scanning and skimming skills for reading, develops essay writing skills, and expands public presentation skills. Study of English literature and novels, research projects, and written and oral reports will be included. This course is challenging and homework will be required.

This preparation course is available for students who are planning to take the TOEFL test, and who are registered in the high-intermediate and advanced classes. This course is designed to improve your English and maximize your TOEFL score.

TOEIC:
This course is designed to improve your English skills and maximize your TOEIC score. Students acquire the key skills needed for a high score while enjoying a dynamic curriculum. Our program offers speaking and writing components designed to help students succeed in the newest TOEIC test.

IELTS:
Our IELTS program is designed for students wishing to become Canadian citizens or wishing to enter into an English speaking university. Using the most current curriculum, students are able to familiarize themselves with and practice techniques to understand various questions, topics and formats of the IELTS exam.
