Verbum Novum GmbH - German Courses in Germany:
Verbum Novum is an international language travel operator for German language schools in Mainz, Munich, Berlin, Nuremberg. We specialize in organizing language travel for students all over the world who want to learn German. We offer German language courses from beginner to advanced levels for adults including group and individual classes, homestay programs, exam preparation courses and more, as well as German language summer camps for juniors (ages 13-17 years).

German Language Courses:
We provide German language courses for all levels from beginner to advanced levels. We use the language levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEF).

General German Language Courses for Adults (18+ years) 
Both group & individual, one-on-one classes:
- Group German Language Courses:  
In all our course locations, we offer German language courses as a standard course with 20 lessons per week. In Mainz, there is a possibility to book the standard course with 25 lessons per week.

The courses are scheduled for the following levels:  A1 to C2. In Munich, we accept participants with the minimum level of B1. One level lasts 8 weeks, but it also depends on your personal ambition and will.

It is very important for us before you book the course, to know what language level you have so that we can place you in the appropriate group. For students who just want to refresh their language knowledge, they can book less weeks. The minimum course period is 2 weeks.

- Individual German Language Courses:  
Those who would like to learn German more intensively have the possibility to book the individual course with as many lessons per week as you need, but the minimum period should be 2 lessons per week.

The individual courses can be thematically concentrated. If you need to learn some terms for your profession or study, you can choose a specific course with medicine, law, business or other specialized terms. Also, it is possible to book the course as a mini group with 2 or 3 participants. The important requirement is all participants must have the same language level.

German Language Exam Preparation Courses (TestDaF, DSH, Studienkolleg & TELC)
If you intend to study at the university in Germany, you have to pass as a foreign applicant the exam which confirms your German knowledge at university level.

There are two equivalent exam variants:  TestDaF Exam and DSH Exam, and some universities also accept TELC C1. For any exam variant, we offer the preparation courses in Köln, Nürnberg, Munich and Bremen.

In Köln, you can prepare for DSH exam, in Nürnberg – for TestDaF and DSH, in Munich for DSH, TestDaF, Studienkolleg, in Bremen you can prepare for TestDaF and TELC and take the exam in the school.

For applicants whose school-leaving certificate is not enough for the direct study at any university need to study first at Studienkolleg for one year as a preparation for the university.

For Studienkolleg the students must pass the entrance exam. The Studienkolleg exam preparation course you can book in our school in Munich.

Learning German + Hobby:
For those who want to combine language travel with some sport activities and hobbies, Verbum Novum offers on request additional courses such as golf, riding, tennis, cooking and baking course, painting course and more...

Homestay Programs with Local German Families:
Totally immerse youselt in the language and culture by living locally with a German family.

University Placement Assistance:
We also offer academic services such as German language courses at German State Universities. Most of these courses run in summer for a minimum of 4 weeks. We provide academic assistance for students who are applying to study at universities in Germany.

Services include university placement assistance. Another academic service is a guest student program. This is a program for students who want to get some experience studying at the university abroad for 1 or 2 semesters.

Group German Tours:
We offer group stay tours with the combination of factory visit tours. It helps you to see a world-famous factory from inside and to discover some interesting things.

Summer German Courses for Adults & College Students:
In Berlin, we offer students 18+ a "Summer College" program, which includes German classes and cultural program. This is the best way to get acquainted with Berlin and make learning German joyful.

Summer German Language Camps for Juniors (14-17 years)

- Group Language Courses: 
Our juniors can book the standard courses with 20 lessons per week. The courses run from Monday till Friday in the morning. After the lessons and lunch, there will be sports / free activities or some excursions to the nearest cities.

One full day excursion takes places on Saturday or Sunday during a 2 week stay. The language course is scheduled for juniors with the minimum level of A1.

- Summer Camps: 
In summer, we offer summer camps for juniors in Mainz and Munich with accommodation in our student residences. Students live and get their lessons in the same building. The German classes (20 lessons per week) run from Monday till Friday in the morning.

For more independent juniors, we offer accommodation with our host families in double rooms with full board in Nuremberg. We also provide a free activity program including excursions. All the excursions and free activity programs are supervised and escorted by our guide. The German courses are scheduled for the students with the min. level of A1.
