Campus Berlin Mitte Phorms Education:
Campus Berlin Mitte is a bilingual, private and international school in the central district of Mitte in the heart of Berlin, Germany. Established in 2006, we offer whole-day education in German and English to over 500 students in our Nursery, Primary and Secondary School. We teach children and young people to understand the world in all its cultural and linguistic diversity, local characteristics and global contexts.
Nursery School:
- Age-homogeneous groups for children aged 2 upwards
- Sporting activites and artwork
- Field trips to natural area one day a week
- Reception class for the year before Primary School
Depending on the age of the children, each group is looked after by two or three childcare specialists, including at least one person who speaks German and one person who’s native language is English. This enables the children to learn both languages within a natural environment.
Alongside the importance we attach to bilingualism, sport and music are also particular focuses of the work we do. Exclusively for the nursery school we have a large and excellently equipped gymnasium in which we hold regular sports sessions with the students as well as providing them with a chance to develop their motor skills. Everyday life in the day care centre is also determined by music to a considerable extent. We hold a morning singing circle and play on our vast collection of musical instruments on other fixed occasions.

The curriculum at our private school taught is based on the outline curriculum of the federal state of Berlin. The curriculum of our private school is based on the framework curriculum of the State of Berlin. Phorms Education is an internationally-minded private school in the Holzhausen district of Frankfurt City, in the Hesse region of West-Central Germany. We currently offer whole-day bilingual education in German and English for students at primary-school level from Grades 1 - 4 and further expansion is planned. We also work closely with the Phorms Education Taunus campus which is only 20 minutes from Frankfurt city centre and offers kindergarten, primary and secondary school programs.The curriculum taught in our private school is based on the outline curriculum of the federal state of Hessen. Obermenzinger Gymnasium private, bilingual secondary school in North-west Munich, Germany that features bilingual concepts designed for families with an English speaking background. Our school follows the Bavarian curriculum, leads to the Abitur, and promotes and fosters the German language as well as English.The subjects being taught bilingually will vary throughout the various grade levels to ensure that subject vocabulary is learned in English as well as in German.

H.I.S. is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School that has been serving the needs of the international and local communities within the Rhine-Neckar region in the northwest of Baden-Württemberg since September 2002. We are a not-for-profit, independent, co-educational day school for students from Early Primary 1 (age 4) to Grade 12. The curriculum is international and the language of instruction is English.
H.I.S. is conveniently located near the centre of Heidelberg and is easily accessible by car or public transportation from Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Karlsruhe.
