As we enriched our educational programs following the Cambridge International Curriculum, we had increased number of students, which led to the establishment of the Middle School in 2008. The number of students still has been growing and now we have over 100 students from 20 different nationalities. HJIS is strongly committed to developing an international and multi-cultural perspective among our students and parents. We are working with other schools around the world, and setting new standards of excellence to prepare our students to meet the challenges of the future.

Global Village International Preschool was founded in 2001 in northern Osaka, south of Japan, to accommodate a lack of quality English education for preschool students of all nationalities.At Global Village, children learn and play in an English-speaking environment.

New Hope International Preschool, Tokyo

New Hope International Preschool in Tokyo, Japan is an affordable, quality Christian preschool and kindergarten. School hours are from 10:00 to 2:30, Monday through Friday. Some of our graduates enter elementary school in the spring (Japanese schools), while others enter in the fall (international schools).

Rather than having a fixed beginning and ending of the school-year, we use three terms. Orientation is held at the beginning of each term (April, January, and September). Graduation ceremonies are in March for children who will enter elementary school in the spring, and at the end of June for children who will enter elementary school in the fall.
