Arise and Shine Montessori in St. Louis Park in Hennepin County provides daycare and education for preschoolers and kindergarteners for children ages 33 months to kindergarten, and before and afterschool care for kids up through to third grade. St. Louis Park is a suburb immediately west of Minneapolis. The school is licensed under Hennepin County Rule 3 as a group family day care and carries liability insurance for the safety of your child. Our setting gives your child the benefits of a Minneapolis day care setting and the familiarity and comfort of a home, while still delivering benefits of a Minneapolis Montessori child care center in a rich indoor learning environment.

Arise and Shine Montessori provides a diverse variety of neurologically challenging activities and a wide array of learning materials to provide an optimum environment for your child’s growth and development. We have a mixed-age classroom and a smaller sized classroom which models the real world environment. This provides an opportunity for optimum child interactions and learning social skills.

Our Minneapolis preschool gives children an excellent preparation for kindergarten going above and beyond the simple requirements for public kindergarten. Our Minneapolis preschool staff are Montessori trained and have a wealth of experience. The staff are also trained in CPR and first aid to help facilitate your child’s safety.

- The normal hours of our Minneapolis preschool are Monday through 8:15 am until 3:20 pm.
- Our Minneapolis daycare component assists with the extended schedule opening at 7:45 am and continuing childcare until 6pm.
-  A full complement of Montessori materials is available to the children as is an abundance of other hands-on experiential activities to facilitate their learning.

Our Minneapolis child care serves two healthy snacks and a healthy lunch to ensure your child gets good nutrition. This saves parents time, while ensuring good nutrition for their child. We study nutrition and the children at our preschool love to help prepare meals and to set the table.
