There are always lots of school-run excursions for you to choose from, or, if you're more independent and you decide to venture out with your international group of friends, we'll recommend some great day trips and we'll even help you rent a car, book tours and accommodations, find a campsite, or plan your route.

All homestays are close to the school and to major bus routes on the Mississauga Transit system. All homestays are inspected and interviewed by our staff before they are allowed to accept students. Feedback is regularly collected from students to ensure a high-quality homestay experience for all students.

Families are of all different types - young and old, with and without children, executives and homemakers. This process helps match the incredible variety of students we get from all over the world to just the right host family.
Our students often return years later to Canada to visit their hosts, and we have many stories of host families who have visited students they've hosted in their home countries. This has also provided an opportunity for the student and the host family to engage in international business ventures.
Students are encouraged to share their culture with host families, and often team up with families to cook their own national dishes. Students also take part in our famous pot-luck lunches at the school.
