We are supported by tuition, gifts, and fundraisers. Approximately ninety different churches are represented by our student body. Doctrinally, we align ourselves with Vandalia Baptist Church and its statement of faith.

Stanford Achievement Test:
Each child in grade K5-12th is given the Stanford Achievement Test in the spring of the year. The Stanford is the most widely recognized achievement test in the United States. The national average on the Stanford is at the 50th percentile. On average VCS scores at the 70th percentile school-wide with our kindergartners and senior high scoring into the 90th percentile in reading.

Sports Program:
Our high school and junior high compete with other schools in soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, golf and cheerleading through the North Carolina Christian School Athletic Association. Students wishing to participate in sports much keep at least a “C” average. VCS has had 18 state championship awards in our school history. Our parents lend support to our sports program. At the elementary level, we have a Winter Basketball League for grades 1-7. We also encourage our elementary students to participate in community league sports.
