The Learning Experience:
The Learning Experience Childcare, located in Cary, North Carolina, is a private Preschool offering programs to infants (6 weeks) through Kindergarten (6 years). TLE is proud to offer an outstanding curriculum, including Fun with Phonics (Reading Enrichment program), The Learning Experience L.E.A.P, Suddenly Science plus other programs at no extra cost. We strive to maintain the highest standards of child care & to be the best child care in the area offering child care from children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. The center is open year round 6:30am – 6:30pm weekdays for your convenience. There’s no need for you to rush from your workplace to pick up your loved one(s).

Infants:
Caring for infants as young as six weeks of age is a tremendous responsibility. We take that responsibility very seriously. We have spent years developing an infant program that is well thought out. Every detail has been meticulously planned from the design of the infant center, to the selection of equipment, toys, curriculum and activities, to the screening and training of infant caregivers.

Toddlers:
Toddler rooms are designed to be self-contained, with a diaper changing station and a completely separate refrigerator and food preparation area. There are plenty of toys, equipment, art supplies, blocks and books. There is always lots of love given to all by our Toddler staff.

Twaddlers:
At The Learning Experience (TLE), our Twaddler program is the next stage of development following our Toddler program. Twaddlers have expanded their language skills and can communicate verbally. At this stage, independence dominates and exploration is their number one priority. Our Little Learners curriculum safely encourages Twaddlers to pursue their priority of exploring. The classroom environment is designed to further enhance this inquisitive stage.

Preppers:
Once a child is mature enough to handle "potty time" by himself/herself, and the staff and parents believe the child is socially, physically, and emotionally ready to move to the next classroom environment, the child will enter our Prepper Program. This program, designed to meet the special needs of maturing twos and young threes, is a perfect bridge into our Preschool classroom. Teachers in this class are prepared for "potty accidents". In this stage of development, there is a rapid increase in physical, cognitive, developmental and social skills. The Prepper program provides a balanced curriculum to satisfy this unique growth period.

Preschool:
At this stage, children are very curious and eager to discover and master new skills. Our Preschool program is broken up into three completely separate classes according to chronological age and developmental stage. We believe that how children learn is as important as what they learn; therefore, we have created an innovative and exciting Preschool curriculum. We call our proprietary curriculum L.E.A.P. (The Learning Experience Academic Program). Conceived and written by our own Curriculum Department at our Corporate Headquarters, L.E.A.P. provides Preschool teachers with a comprehensive monthly curriculum.

Pre-K & Kindergarten:
At The Learning Experience (TLE) , we offer both full-day and half-day Pre-K/Kindergarten programs taught by state certified and credentialed teachers. This program is offered to those children who (1) have missed the local school cut-off or (2) have entered a half day Kindergarten program in the public school system and will be entering first grade the following school year.
