New Amsterdam School, New York City:Established in 2006, the New Amsterdam Early Childhood Center began as a grassroots alliance of educators, parents and community leaders determined to bring the benefits of Waldorf education to the Lower Manhattan community in New York City. The New Amsterdam Early Childhood Center offers Waldorf kindergarten and nursery programs for young children from birth to age seven in Manhattan, New York City. Previously known as “A Child’s Haven,” we adopted our new name in January 2009 to reflect our setting in Lower Manhattan and programming for young children. We are conveniently located for families from the West Village, Soho, Tribeca and Battery Park City.

Tuxedo Park School

Tuxedo Park School is a private, independent, coeducational day school for students in preschool through to freshman year, and is one of the most unique educational opportunities for PreK -9th grade children in the United States. Caedmon is a PreK-5 Modified Montessori school located on a quiet, residential street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York. We are a school with a large international population. 25% of our enrollment comes to us from as many as 25 different countries. Caedmon maintains a class structure that allows the instruction to be more individualized. The Caedmon School consists of six levels: Beginners, Early Program, Kindergarten, Lower Level, Middle Level and Upper Level. Each class has two teachers - a head teacher and an associate.
