Founded in 2004, Preschool of America opened its first school in New York City’s historic Chelsea neighborhood. Since then we have opened a total of seven centers throughout Manhattan including our center on 345 42nd street in West Midtown, and we continue to grow. The founding principle of establishing outstanding day care centers and preschools for New York City families remains uncompromised.
At Preschool of America our beautiful and modern facilities provide each child with the ability to learn and grow physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally. Our full-time programs, a good curriculum that provides plenty of hands-on learning and high quality teachers prepare the children in our schools for elementary school and for life-long learning. Other locations include Upper Westside on 101 West End Ave, Upper Eastside on 1180 Park Ave and Lower Eastside on 39 Eldridge Street.

Adults and Children in Trust (A.C.T.), located on the 11-acre oasis of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine campus on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is an education center that provides year-round educational and recreational programs for infants, children and teens from 6 months to 17 years old. At A.C.T., we work with children from the very beginning. Once children are in school, we provide families with afterschool care, holiday camps, summer camps and even party services for those special milestones in a child’s life.

If you are looking for a quality preschool or child care center in Manhattan, Smarter Toddler is perfect for you! With convenient locations on Manhattan's Upper West Side and at Midtown West near Times Square, we aim to provide a loving, home-like atmosphere for infants, toddlers and young kids (ages 3 months - 5 years). Our specially-designed arts-based curriculum is geared toward the growth of the 'whole child'. Music, movement, literacy and visual arts are an active part of every child's day. Full-time and part-time options are available.Smarter Toddler was founded by parents of gifted young children who wanted a progressive preschool with an advanced arts-based curriculum that their own children could benefit from, hence the name. Developing good study skills in high school will prepare you for academic success in college. Learning how to effectively manage your time, how to prioritize your work and how to retain important information are skills that will be of huge benefit to you throughout your life.
While you still have the support of your teachers in high school, you are expected to think for yourself and to take control of your learning. Whether you're a freshman or a senior, you can improve your study habits by making a few changes to your routine. Your academic success is entirely up to you!
Try to study in quiet environments that are free from distractions - you can't concentrate effectively if you are constantly being interrupted. Have a dedicated study area at home, and use your school library also. If you have disruptive classmates, try to sit as far away from them as possible so you can focus on your teacher.
Create an efficient and realistic study schedule for yourself and stick to it. Study for blocks of 20-50 minutes and make sure you take plenty of breaks. Try to be physically active during your breaks but make sure you return to your study!

Oakdale Academy is the largest independently owned and operated child educational school on Staten Island, New York. We have two locations offering modern and cosy facilities to serve families throughout Staten Island and Raritan Bay and Bay Terrace communities. Conveniently located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NYC, Wee Care Child Care provides child care and preschool programs for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. Enrolling your child in day care or preschool at an early age means that you are preparing them for educational success in elementary school.
