Bilingual Buds, Summit NJ:
Located just 20 minutes west of Newark, Bilingual Buds is a comprehensive language immersion day school for preschool, kindergarten, and elementary school students (Grades 1-5). We offer immersion programs in both Mandarin and Spanish - two of the most highly spoken languages in the world. Bilingual Buds maintains a collaborative, "small school" culture that gives children a feeling of belonging.

Our immersion environments engage students in multi-sensory and inquiry-based activities that foster strong critical-thinking and creative problem solving skills. Our accelerated curriculum provides academic challenge in two languages, while our individualized attention allows students the freedom to ask, to explore, and to enjoy learning.

Day School Language Immersion Courses (Spanish / Mandarin)
- Preschool (ages 2-4) - Dual-language preschool program with an academic focus.
- Pre K / Kindergarten (ages 4-6) - Dual academic Kindergarten program that welcomes capable Pre K students.
- Grades 1-5 - Offering an accelerated, inquiry-based curriculum in both English and the target language.

As bilingual research supports, skills acquired in one language transfer to another, allowing our students to learn efficiently, make connections, and approach concepts from multiple angles. Our own assessment results in English and the target language support these findings.
