The Shenker Academy:
The Shenker Academy, located in North Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, is a non-denominational Preschool and Kindergarten offering programs for children aged 12 months - 6 years old. Our Kindergarten is licensed by the Clark County School District. The Academy implements the Multiple Intelligence Theory which responds to the different learning styles of each individual student. This innovative educational philosophy defines eight different intelligences.

Multiple Intelligence:
The Shenker Academy uses the Multiple Intelligence Theory, created by Dr. Howard Gardner. This innovative educational theory defines eight different intelligences or strengths that we all possess. Our learning environment encourages children to explore and exercise all of the eight intelligences with hands-on, multi-sensory activities. The daily lesson plans are designed so each child can develop independent thinking skills, creativity and higher levels of problem-solving. The Preschool and Kindergarten programs promote and develop confidence and individual expression in each child. Hebrew, Spanish and Sign Language are a part of the curriculum.
Our Teachers:
Our Teachers are experienced, trained and certified early childhood professionals. The Academy maintains low student-teacher ratios, allowing for individualized learning in a safe, nurturing environment. The learning environment is filled with developmentally appropriate toys and learning materials, giving the children opportunities to learn through the eight intelligences. Our teachers plan daily activities to encourage the children's creativity, socialization, independent thinking and problem-solving skills.

Delphian School is a premiere, co-educational, independent day and boarding school in Yamhill County in Oregon. Our campus in Sheridan is located 60 miles southwest of Portland in the scenic Willamette Valley. We offer a nondenominational and nonsectarian, K-12 program with a complete curriculum in each school (Lower School, Elementary School, Middle School, Upper School). We understand little ones in Las Vegas have limited play areas. Tykes N Tots Indoor Play is a great alternative, offering a safe, fun and climate-controlled environment for children to play.
Our goal is to be fun, but also safe and clean. We clean our toys and equipment regularly, and it is mandatory for socks to be worn by all visitors.
