El Taller, New York:
EL TALLER LATINO AMERICANO (The Latin American Workshop) is a non-profit arts and education organization in New York City. We offer year round art and music workshops for children. El Taller has a 22-year history of being the musical home in New York for musicians from all over the Americas. Our Artistic Director Bernardo Palombo is a composer, performer and impresario who has brought some of the greatest names in American music to El Taller including: Mercedes Sosa, Philip Glass, David Byrne, Leon Gieco and others. At our art classes children can enjoy engaging in different techniques and processes while exploring their own abilities. Different processes that are explored include painting, drawing, sculpture, collage and multimedia projects. Our music classes which take place at our center or your choice of location bring the room to life, with exciting instruments from different countries of South America including learning the instruments, rhythms and dances of the Peruvian coast.

Our goal is not only to present the best in Latin music, but also to encourage a mixture of musical traditions that results in new creative collaborations and truly new music.
What We Offer:
Thanks to its large network of musician, artists, dancers and storytellers, El Taller offers a variety of workshops both at our location and at schools, museums and other organizations. We also create special art and Latino culture workshops and assist school teachers who wish to include art appreciation workshops in their curriculum.

The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Manhattan

Centrally located in Manhattan, NYC, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is the only school in the world that offers training of Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting in its pure form. As well as our acting programs for adults, we offer year-round classes for kids and teens aged between 7-18. These 12-week Saturday programs are offered for students during the fall, winter, summer and spring. In addition, we offer 2-week to 6-week all day summer camps.Our Young Actors program is designed as an intensive and diverse course for serious young actors and the comprehensive curriculum includes Acting, Singing, Dance, Acting for Film and TV, and Production.

Located in the heart of Manhattan's Upper West Side, Mis Amiguitos Spanish Montessori Nursery & Preschool offers a bilingual Spanish Montessori program for students ages 3 months to 5 years. With our "Early immersion to Spanish" method, our students simultaneously learn Spanish and build their educational foundation using the Montessori philosophy. We help your child to be fluent in Spanish Language and also to be prepare for Kindergarten.

Located in Astoria, in the northwestern corner of Queens in New York City (NYC), Astoria Dance Centre offers fun and professional dance, acting, piano and voice lessons for boys and girls of all ages and levels, from toddler through to teens. We also offer summer programs. We are proud to serve Queens and NYC areas of Astoria, Long Island City, Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst Corona and Manhattan. Recreational and pre-professional classes at Astoria Dance Centre are designed to ensure correct technique and placement and each student is assigned to a class best suited to her or his age and stage of development. Located in Manhattan, New York, The School for Strings has been New York’s premiere Suzuki-based music school since 1970, providing outstanding instrumental instruction in violin, cello, piano and fiddle to thousands of children and teenagers. In agreement with Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s ideas, the School’s philosophy is that through the study of music, all children can achieve beyond their expectations. Dr. Suzuki's educational precepts are based on his conviction that every child can be educated and the corollary assumption that every child will be educated.
