Convent of the Sacred Heart:
Convent of the Sacred Heart, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City, is an accredited, Latin Rite Catholic private, all-female school offering Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 programs. Convent of the Sacred Heart combines an outstanding academic experience with an environment that nurtures the heart, mind and spirit of its young women. The three divisions of Convent of the Sacred Heart are comprised of Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School. Each division addresses the academic, spiritual, social and psychological needs of the students through diverse teaching strategies and extra-curricular activities.

Lower School:
Instilling confidence and a strong sense of self is an important focus in the Lower School: children flourish when they are seen as individuals and have opportunities to develop talents and experience affirmation. Traditions play an influential role in helping each child appreciate that she is loved for who she is and valued as a member of the Sacred Heart community.

Middle School:
The academic program in the Middle School emphasizes process and skill development so that students learn to master extensive material as they advance to the next grade level. English, mathematics, science, social studies, religion, French and Spanish make up the core curriculum of the Middle School while drama, studio art, music and physical education are also required courses. Additionally, the study of Latin is available beginning in the seventh grade.

Upper School:
Upper School students' demanding schedules include college preparatory academic requirements and electives, in addition to special interests with after-school clubs, athletics, and community service projects.
