Bridgeway Homeschool Academy:
Based in Lehigh County, PA, Bridgeway Academy is a fully-accredited Christian homeschool academy offering a strong academic Pre-K-12th Grade program that is recognized in all US states and abroad. Preschool Horizons:
The lessons in this program are centered around a specific Biblical themes and include arts and crafts, music, story times, suggested field trips and other exciting learning activities. Preschool Horizons teaches students the importance of God, who is the beginning of all things.
With its built-in flexibility, you select the days to provide the instruction. This complete curriculum contains 180 lessons within two student books, two teacher’s guides, a sing along music CD and a resource packet, which contains basic flashcards and other manipulatives.
Preschool with ACE and Christi:
This full-year program is easy to use and easy to administer. Parents simply follow the detailed teacher’s guide to provide instruction in letters and letter sounds, animals, basic science and social studies, numbers and mathematics. Christian Homeschooling
Students love the sixty colorful workbooks filled with Bible and animal pictures, fun to do worksheets and full-color picture stories that encourage a love for reading. With this program, your child learns the phonetic sounds for all letters so that when he is ready to learn to read, he will do so. He will also learn social skills, the wonders of God’s world and the reality of God’s love.
Kindergarten:
Bridgeway’s kindergarten programs are filled with fun, phonics and learning designed to make it easy for you to give your child the best foundation possible. Each program provides step-by-step instructions to the parent explaining exactly what to do each day-no need to spend time in lengthy research and development-we’ve done it for you.
Our kindergarten programs focus on phonics, reading and math and are filled with colorful workbooks for your child, dynamic instruction, hands-on activities and ideas, arts and crafts and much more.
Elementary Programs (Grades 1-5):
The elementary years are a time when children experience amazing intellectual growth and form behaviors and disciplines that will define them forever. Realizing the wondrous fertility and flexibility of young minds, Bridgeway’s elementary homeschool program is careful to keep its students challenged and engaged at all times.
Continued exploration, discovery and hands-on activities introduce, reinforce and solidify core academic concepts in listening, speaking, reading, writing, mathematics, social studies and science.
Middle School Homeschool Courses (Grades 6-8):
The sixth, seventh and eighth grade years of middle school entail changes as dramatic and significant as those of toddlers or full-fledged teens. It also presents opportunities for your child’s continued success in homeschooling, relationships and life. In addition, we customize the placement of each student to ensure a smooth transition into high school level studies that are in line with their plans for the future.
High School (Grades 9-12):
Bridgeway Academy’s carefully selected curriculum is ideal if you want to homeschool high school students. Each course is designed to be self-teaching and explains the material clearly and concisely in a step-by-step process. Ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade homeschool students have the opportunity to work with a variety of curriculum formats, including on-line College courses for both high school and college credit.
As with all of our programs, Bridgeway’s High School Homeschool program is customized to meet the needs, future ambitions and realities of each student’s schedule. Our courses range from vocational to career prep and from academic to honors and advanced placement.
In addition to all of the courses listed, Bridgeway offers record-keeping options for students who wish to complete core courses or other electives on their own or through a local homeschool coop. High School juniors and seniors may also take advantage of our dual enrollment program, where they can take online courses to earn both high school and college credits.
