Spanish Language Courses in Arequipa, Peru

Juanjo Spanish Language School:
Located in the beautiful Peruvian city of Arequipa. Juanjo Spanish Language School prides itself on providing individual and dedicated attention to each of its students. From our years of experience we have learned that the combination of personal attention by the teachers and total immersion in the language is the fastest and most effective way to learn Spanish. Even if you are a complete beginner, you can achieve a reasonable level of proficiency in as little as two weeks. Also tours and adventure trips.

At Juanjo Spanish Language School we have found that the best way to learn the language is to spend part of the time learning grammar and part of the time actually practicing conversation. All the courses we offer are, therefore, structured this way. We have also found that one of the key factors for quickly learning and becoming proficient in the language is the one-on-one interaction that only exists in the individual classes. We, therefore, highly recommend that student attend one of our individual courses.

Individual (Regular)
20 hours a week, 4 hours a day, with one 20-minute coffee break in between. Two hours are spent on grammar, and two hours are spent on conversation. This course is designed for students who want to learn or improve their ability to speak and understand Spanish. Highly recommended for beginner and intermediate level students.

Individual (Intensive)
30 hours a week, 6 hours a day, with two breaks. Two hours are spent on grammar; two hours are spent on conversation; and two hours are spent on one of the following: grammar, conversation, reading, listening or writing skills. This course is designed for students who want to rapidly improve their proficiency in Spanish and/or have limited time. Recommended for intermediate and advanced students.

Group Courses
20 hours a week, 4 hours a day, with one 20-minute coffee break in between. Two hours are spent on grammar, and two hours are spent on conversation. This course is designed for groups of students who arrive together and have the same level of Spanish or if we can form a group from enough students that are at the same level at the same time. Minimum number of students is 2 and the maximum is 4.

Backpackers
Since some of our students are backpackers who are simply interested in improving their proficiency enough to feel comfortable traveling around South America, we offer a course that runs anywhere between several days up to two weeks. Great emphasis is placed on conversation skills and the ability to communicate well in practical situations encountered during travel. Recommended for backpackers who have little or no Spanish or for individuals who have very limited time.
