We offer the IGCSE program and pre-university courses IB (2 years) and GAC (1 year) for our boarders and day students. Summer programs are offered in music / sports / equestrian / art run.

Education Programs:
Cempaka International Ladies' College provides a supportive learning environment, with small class sizes to ensure each student is well-taken care of and receives the attention she merits. The average class is 10 with a maximum size of 20. CILC aims to create a modern, twenty-first century learning environment in an Asian setting, where innovation, entrepreneurship, design, global awareness, cultural understanding, communication, media skills, information literacy, critical thinking, arts appreciation and environmental responsibility are interdisciplinary themes woven into a progressive formal curriculum with a nurturing extracurricular learning environment.

Education programs for both boarders and day students from Malaysia and abroad:

- CILC runs the UK-based Cambridge International Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum at year 7-11.

- CILC also offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Year Program (IB-DP) for ages 16 - 19 years and GAC-program

The IB Diploma Programme is designed as an academically challenging and balanced program of education with final examinations that prepares students, normally aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. The program is taught over two years and  has gained recognition and respect from the world's leading universities.

The GAC is a university preparation program that provides students with the academic knowledge, skills, and confidence to enter and  successfully complete a bachelor's degree at one of many selected universities. If you want to study overseas, successful completion of the GAC is a pathway into a bachelor degree at one of many GAC Pathway Universities in the USA, Australia, Canada, UK, and other countries world-wide.

School hours are Monday - Friday, 8.00am to 4.00 pm. Co-curricular activities are scheduled in the afternoons. Weekend mornings incorporate society, performing arts and spiritual pursuits.

Boarding Life:
Boarding school life teaches the girls discipline, independence, confidence and character, qualities that will benefit them throughout their lives. They will develop bonds with their fellow Cempakans that will hold for much longer than the duration of their stay at CILC. As part of the Cempaka community, the girls will learn values such as tolerance, patience, empathy, humility and proper etiquette. This experience will also prepare them for university.

There are 3 terms in a year (Autumn, Spring & Summer), with a long break (1 to 2.5 months) between each. Students go back home or to their guardian for these long holidays. In the middle of each term, there is a half-term holiday (about a week). Students must go home or to their  guardian for these. Each term also has 1 or 2 leave-out weekends, a long weekend, where the girls may choose  to either go home, visit their guardian or stay at the college.
