About Us:

Cempaka International Ladies’ College inherits several years of Cempakan education, one that focuses on academic rigour, a wide range of sporting activities and the fine arts which include music, theatre and dance. Our school represents an exciting modern breed of boarding schools in this region. It combines the established academic tradition of rigour of the British and European system with the rich cultural diversity of South East Asia. With just 280 girls, CILC girls will enjoy a truly intimate setting, with the student population will kept deliberately diverse.

Cempaka International Ladies' College provides a supportive learning environment, with small class sizes to ensure each student is well-taken care of and receives the attention she merits. The average class is 10 with a maximum size of 20.

Our Aim:

Cempaka International Ladies' College aims to create a modern, twenty-first century learning environment in an Asian setting, where innovation, entrepreneurship, design, global awareness, cultural understanding, communication, media skills, information literacy, critical thinking, arts appreciation and environmental responsibility are interdisciplinary themes woven into a progressive formal curriculum with a nurturing extracurricular learning environment.

Boarding & Amenities:

The House system is at the core of college life. The girls will become a family by living together and will have experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Cempaka International Ladies’ College has four boarding houses - Beruang (Bear), Harimau (Tiger), Helang (Eagle), Seladang (Ox). Each house comprises girls from all levels. The senior girls take leadership roles in the running of the House, acting as ‘older sisters’ to the junior girls.

Years 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11 students are placed in twin sharing rooms, while girls in their senior year each have their own room. Each room has its own private bathroom. The boarding houses are provided with housekeeping and laundry services. There are also study rooms and common areas, where students may socialize, relax, and unwind. Other on-campus facilities include the school-mart (for books and uniform), convenience store, launderette, and dental clinic.
