Baylor School, Chattanooga:
Located on the outskirts of Chattanooga (2 hours from Nashville), Tennessee, Baylor School is a co-educational private boarding school offering Grades 9-12. Boarding schools are well known for their academic excellence and Baylor is no exception. Upper School Grades 9-12:

The heart of Baylor School is the academic program, which aims to provide every student with:
- A firm grounding in knowledge of nature, history, and the human heart.
- An understanding of American institutions and the skills for participation in a free-market economy.
- Intellectual challenge and thorough preparation for further study.
- The ability to think critically and express oneself clearly in speaking and in writing.

Smaller, More Effective Classes:
The close personal attention through small classes ensures that students are challenged appropriately and guided in their work. Longer class periods enable teachers to place a premium on thoughtful exchanges and collaboration, giving students the opportunity to be actively engaged in the classroom and reflective about what they are learning.

Advanced Placement Courses:
All of our classes are college preparatory. In addition to core courses, advanced courses, and electives, Baylor offers 22 Advanced Placement courses. Baylor students taking Advanced Placement (AP) are often eligible to receive college credit or waive required college courses.

Athletics:

Baylor offers 17 sports and 81 teams in grades 6-12. Our teams have produced more than 70 state championships in the past 15 years, 110 in all. In 2005, Sports Illustrated magazine ranked Baylor as one of the top 25 athletic programs in the country and first in the state.

After School Activities:
All Baylor students are required to participate in an afternoon activity when the academic day ends. In addition to athletic teams, we also offer a vast amount of activities that meet a variety of individual interests.

Arts:
Baylor offers an extensive arts program with courses in visual arts, choral and instrumental music, dance, photography, and drama. Baylor students regularly receive honors at art, band, and voice competitions.

Summer Programs:
Baylor offers academic and enrichment programs, as well as sports programs for boys and girls ages 5-15.

Located in Pike County GA, 50 miles south of Atlanta, Prayer Mountain Boys Academy is a year-round, 15-month faith-based program for struggling / at-risk teen boys ages 13-17.

Our Christian boarding school is specifically designed to help teen boys who are struggling with anger, defiance, minor substance abuse, and other destructive choices.

Our Christian boarding school for boys feels like a home. The beautiful 36-acre campus gives boys a peaceful and spacious setting in which to make lasting life change.

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Kentucky and across the United States.

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.

We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.

Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.
