Eaton Academy, Roswell:

K-8 Program:
Younger students enrolling in this program benefit from a low 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio. The curriculum is designed to capitalize on students' strengths and foster emerging skills. Music and art elements are incorporated into daily lessons, when appropriate.

The teachers employ a wide variety of resources to meet the needs of diverse learning styles and to help students become active participants in their education. Extensive field experiences and technology are well integrated into this program. Communication between teachers and families and a true team approach further enhance the multisensory, success-oriented environment. An afterschool enrichment program offers study and activity options.

Secondary Program:
This SACS accredited, secondary program offers a college prep curriculum with an extremely low student-to-teacher ratio (5:1). Knowing that all students process information in their own way, teachers employ multifaceted strategies and accommodations to meet the students' individual academic needs. Students pursue a challenging academic curriculum in a setting designed to help them realize their potential and reach future goals.

The program consistently emphasizes the use of technology; experiential, project-based learning; and the application of critical thinking skills. This approach results in effective, independent study habits. The teachers and administrators carefully monitor student performance and update parents on a regularly scheduled basis. A homework period is included in each student's daily schedule. Extra-curricular activities reflect student interests and have included basketball, golf, running, tennis, bowling, and scuba diving.

PSAT, SAT, ACT Prep Courses:
These small group classes, scheduled throughout the year, help students prepare for upcoming SAT dates. These courses provide 16 hours of detailed instruction, including the administration of a sample test.

Advanced Placement and Honors Courses:
We offer AP and honors courses in a wide range of areas.

Enrichment:
In addition to an accredited academic program, Eaton Academy provides an excellent Enrichment Program.
