Spanish Classes - Level Descriptions

- Beginner Spanish Classes
TISI Beginner Spanish classes are for beginners with little or no understanding of the Spanish language. You'll learn basic Spanish phrases through listening, speaking, reading and writing about variety of topics. We focus on verbal communication and grammar basics. Working in a group setting, you will learn how to talk about yourself and ask others about: name, origins, age, job, hobbies. You will also learn the Spanish greetings, alphabet and numbers. 

- Intermediate Spanish Classes
TISI Intermediate Spanish classes will expose students to relative pronouns and familiar and formal commands. This intermediate class will put more emphasis on verbal and written communication. These classes expand and develop Spanish grammar and conversational skills through listening, speaking, reading and writing activities and resources. Classes will be conducted mostly in Spanish. - Advanced Spanish Classes
TISI Advanced Spanish classes are designed to help you build on your existing skills and expand your ability to read, write and speak Spanish. You will increase fluency and expand your vocabulary through group classroom activities and role playing real-world situations. French Classes

- Beginner French Classes
TISI Beginner French students will learn greetings and basic communication skills. Through group discussions and classroom activities you will develop elementary skills in grammar, reading and writing. 


Sign Language Classes

- Beginner Sign Language Classes
Learn the fundamentals of fingerspelling and American Sign Language vocabulary. Develop skills for communication with deaf people through an introduction of the linguistic aspects of American Sign Language. This course is for people with little or no knowledge of American Sign Language.
