Subject Areas:

Language Arts:
Our language arts curriculum draws from many sources and methodologies. We teach the mechanics of reading and writing (phonics, spelling, handwriting and grammar), as well as instill a love of books and respect for self expression. Our goals for students are to understand and enjoy what they read and to express themselves clearly in writing.

Math:
Our math programs use a combination of manipulative and contextual learning so students understand concretely what abstract math equations mean. As skills and understanding grow, so does the use of the pencil and paperwork. Students are expected to memorize and practice math facts, as well as master problem solving strategies.

Science:

Our science curriculum stresses hands on experiments and direct observation. Students learn to classify, record, and evaluate data as they develop and test their hypotheses.

Foreign Language:
Our school provides instruction in foreign language to all students. Our instructor emphasizes speaking accurately as well as learning about the culture and countries where the language is spoken.

Fine Arts
:
Our fine arts program introduces students to musical concepts and conventions, drama, and creative and visual art utilizing a variety of mediums.
