EduKick Summer Soccer Camps, Madrid:
Experience an amazing intensive summer soccer experience in Madrid, Spain! EduKick provides a 4-week summer football camp program for boys and girls ages 10-18 in Madrid, home of the world's most famous soccer team - Real Madrid C.F. Our soccer camps feature Spanish language lessons combined with intensive training to ensure that participants develop the physical, technical, tactical and mental foundation required for better performance.
EduKick Madrid Spanish & Soccer Training Summer Camps:
Duration: 4 weeks / For boys & girls ages 10-18 years
Open to soccer players ages 10 years and up interested in cultural exposure through travel, daily Spanish language instruction by International House Madrid, excursions, and professional soccer training by the famous Aragonés brothers & professional Spanish coaches.
This program is an extremely unique immersion experience that combines international travel, daily Spanish language instruction, high-level professional soccer training, and cultural excursions together in one summer camp.
Training Concepts:
- Individual Technique Control, dribbling, shooting, heading, running at speed with the ball
- Collective Technique Passing, movement & positioning
- Individual defending and ball recovery – Interceptions, clearances, pressure & winning the ball
- Goalkeeping technique Saves/blocks, deflections & clearances
Football Teaching Methodology:
- Direct instruction: Task assignments and work in pairs and in small groups
- Individual teaching through specific exercises geared towards the technical progression of the player, minimizing weaknesses and maximizing strengths
- What we’re looking for: Problem solving based on proposed technical objectives
Spanish Language Lessons:
Participants study Spanish Language & Culture during typical days in our residence classrooms following the world acclaimed communicative approach of International House Madrid (IH).
Group size will be no larger than 14 students per teacher. Each class is taught by native, qualified, experienced, and licensed teachers following a progressive and organized curriculum.
Typical Daily Schedule:
- 8.00 - 8.30am: Breakfast
- 9.00 - 11.00am: Speed, Strength, conditioning & technical skills
- 11.00 - 11.30am: Showers (mandatory)
- 11.30 - 1.30pm: Spanish Language class
- 1.45 - 2.45pm: Lunch
- 3.00 - 5.00pm: Rest, recovery & communicate home time
- 5.00 - 6.30pm: Swimming
- 7.00 - 9.00pm: Development training, tactics & scrimmages
- 9.00 - 9.30pm: Showers (mandatory)
- 9.30 - 10.30pm: Dinner
- 10.30 - 11.30pm: Free time around residence
- 11.30pm: Room check & lights out
