Fort Worth Save Our Children:
Fort Worth Save Our Children, located on the south-east side of Fort Worth in North Central Texas, is a daycare facility and private school offering programs to children ages 6 months to 13 years old. From it's beginnings as a daycare facility in a tiny rented house, Save Our Children has grown to a facility housed in three buildings and serving over 100 young people. The hard work and dedication of the Save Our Children staff has resulted in toddlers that recognize and write alphabets and numbers, kindergartners who are able to read and perform mathematical tasks above grade, as well as first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth graders who typically excel one to two years beyond their peers academically.

School Readiness Integration (SRI) Model:
A school readiness integration model can be described as a cost-effective way to develop an integrated approach to bring together school districts, child care providers, and Head Start programs in a cohesive service model that dramatically improves early reading, math, and social development. The two key principles driving school readiness integration are:

(1) The preparedness of all children to enter kindergarten on or above grade level and ready to benefit from the full array of public education services to keep them on grade level in kindergarten and beyond;

(2) The development and implementation of a school readiness integration model that is community-based and individualized in ways that best serve each community in the most effective ways to meet each community’s needs.

This project provides additional enrichment materials and training for staff to share with our students. Our students will also continue with the A-BEKA curriculum.
