Faith Lutheran School and Preschool, located in Sugar Land, Fort Bend County, Texas, is a private Christian school offering a Christ-centered quality education for children three years old through 8th grade. Faith Lutheran School & Preschool sees each child as a physical, mental and spiritual being, created by God and capable of experiencing a deep relationship with Him. Our goal is to enable them to grow spiritually, mentally, socially and physically. We believe in a God-centered academic program that produces strong character and sets the stage for an excellent education. Faith Lutheran Preschool:
At Faith Lutheran Preschool, we provide high quality programs for children ages 2.5 - 5 that lead them to experiencing God's love, to create a foundation upon which positive social relationships are built and to develop a strong sense of self. Our Preschool is state licensed and in compliance with the standards set by the state of Texas. In addition to the state standards, we have set high standards and expectations for ourselves. Our teachers meet and exceed the requirements of Texas for continuing education. They attend several workshops and an annual conference to learn new ideas and teaching methods to use in the classrooms.

Currently, we offer classes for two and a half to three-year olds with a choice of two (2), three (3) or five (5) days a week enrollment. We offer "Kinderbridge" (4 year old Kindergarten) classes for four year olds with a phonics reading program that prepares the child for our Kindergarten program at Faith Lutheran School. All preschoolers attend weekly chapel services and participate in Art, Computer and Music classes.

Faith Lutheran School (Kindergarten - 8th Grade):

All subjects are taught with a biblical worldview.

Elementary School Program:
Our elementary students (Grades K - 5) have a core curriculum of language arts (reading, writing, spelling, and grammar), mathematics, social studies, and science.

Junior High School Program:
Our junior high students (Grades 6 - 8) have a core curriculum of literature (including vocabulary), English (writing and grammar), mathematics (including algebra), science, Spanish, and history. In addition to these core subjects, we offer classes in art, technology, and physical education at every grade level. Many of our Eighth graders are able to enter high school with algebra and Spanish credits carried over from FLS. Our Fourth and Seventh graders study Texas history as required by the state of Texas. In addition to these content area subjects we also teach Bible at every grade level.

Extended Care Program:

Extended Care is available for both Preschool and School students.

- After school hours from dismissal from class until 6:30p.m.
