The heart of the Upper School student day is the study of five major areas every year, with some flexibility in the categories in senior year. Classes in the liberal arts core are most frequently taken at the honors or advanced placement level. In addition, students interested in accelerated math and science may be selected for honors and AP class sections on the basis of their intellectual curiosity and proficiency.
