Lower School Curriculum:
The curriculum of the Lower School (grades K – 4) is sequentially organized. It centers on the student’s understanding and development of the core subjects of language arts, reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies.

Middle School Curriculum:
TVS Middle School understands that its mission is to embrace the whole child as an active and ever-changing learner. We strive to foster an environment that guides identity development, strengthens character, enhances individual interests, and supports young students taking healthy risks within a nurturing environment. TVS Middle School students are expected to demonstrate independence of thought and action while accepting responsibility for their choices. Upper School Curriculum:
The heart of the Upper School student day is the study of five major areas every year, with some flexibility in the categories in senior year. Students increasingly choose electives and coursework of personal interest, but the areas of English, mathematics, science, social studies, and world languages form the core of every schedule. Classes in the liberal arts core are most frequently taken at the honors or advanced placement level. In addition, students interested in accelerated math and science may be selected for honors and AP class sections on the basis of their intellectual curiosity and proficiency.
