KIS International School, Bangkok:
KIS International School is located in the Huay Kwang District, just a few minutes east of Bangkok City Centre. KIS is an authorised IB World School offering students a well-rounded, dynamic curriculum developed using the framework of the International Baccalaureate programmes. KIS provides the ideal environment to inspire both our students and teachers. The Primary Years Programme for ages 2.5-11 years is based on inquiry, exploration, good citizenship and action and uses organizing themes that encourage students to make connections and begin to make sense of the world around them. Students aged 11-16 years study the Middle Years Programme (MYP). Students aged 16+ years study the IB Diploma Programme (DP), a comprehensive and intellectually stimulating course of study recognized by colleges and universities around the world. English is the language of instruction.

KIS is a collaborative coeducational community of over 500 students and 40 nationalities. Its dedicated teachers and supportive parents work together to attain student success. Our Mission:

- Primary Years Programme (PYP):  For students aged 2.5 - 11 (Includes Early Years Programme for ages 2.5 - 5 years, encompassing students in the Early Years Centre, EY2 and Kindergarten classes)

The dynamic curriculum offered at KIS is enriched by a well rounded, global perspective. English is the language of instruction. Students are equipped with the tools to master rigorous academic challenges in math, science, languages, literature, social sciences and the arts and our international focus helps them tackle broader challenges beyond the textbook. They learn how to be global citizens and individual integrity as they develop the skills to deal with life experiences.

A rich after school programme, an active sports schedule, local and global community service, and travel programmes for study and for fun, take our students out into the world, while on campus they are involved in theatre and music, art, journalism, cooking, debate and many other activities.

Secondary Clubs, CAS, after school activities, assemblies, the student councils and field trips support the IB Learner Profile and create avenues to explore the curriculum beyond the classroom. Primary school students participate in a wide variety of after school activities including sports, arts and crafts, drama, dance and others, helping them develop interests and hobbies outside of the academic field. Secondary school students participate in sports coaching clubs, developing skills for TISAC events as well as special interest clubs such as Journalism, Environment, Debate, IT, Chess, Drama and Choir.

Our field trips link classroom learning to the real world. Through residential trips, students are able to further develop their independence and focus on specific learning goals such as the arts, leadership and the environment, in carefully chosen and appropriate venues.
