Global School of English - Edinburgh (GSE-Edinburgh) is located on the trendy Broughton Street in the centre of Edinburgh City, and provides the ideal location to enjoy the culture, history, arts and music, great food, sports, and beautiful scenery that Edinburgh has to offer. We are five minutes walk from Waverley station, two minutes from the Omni centre / Edinburgh theatres and a one minute walk from the main Edinburgh bus station. We are also pleased that we have British Council Accreditation for all our English language courses in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Please note that the school is situated on the second floor of a townhouse building and does not have a lift which may make it unsuitable for students with physical disabilities. Local Directions:

From Edinburgh Waverley Station exit the station at the Waverley Bridge entrance (walk up an inclined road from the station to street level.) Turn right and walk up to Princes Street. Cross to the side of Princes Street with all the shops and then turn right and walk until you reach the next junction. Turn left onto South St Andrews Street and walk across the edge of St Andrews Square. As you pass the edge of the square the street now becomes North St Andrews Street. Continue until you reach the junction with the next main road which is York Place. Turn right into York Place and continue along this street for approximately 100 metres until you reach the school entrance at 41A York Place. This walk will take around ten minutes.

From Edinburgh Bus Station - exit the bus station onto St Andrews Square. Turn right and walk along North St Andrews Street and then turn right into York Place until you reach the school entrance at 41A. This walk will take around two minutes.
