The Strathclyde Master of Business Administration (MBA):

The globally accredited Strathclyde MBA is designed to be flexible. Depending on your personal circumstances, we offer many ways to study the Strathclyde MBA.

Full-time MBA in Glasgow:
Studying for the Full-time programme allows you to focus on the course without trying to juggle study and work. Since we require a minimum of 3 years work experience (the average is over 9 years) you will find that the group has a wealth of experience which is a very powerful resource and will prove invaluable during the year. Your prior experience helps you to relate what you are learning back to a real working context.
The class normally has about 40 - 50 students from over 15 countries - which allows enormous opportunity for gaining an international perspective on what you are learning.

Part-time MBA in the UK:
When you join the Strathclyde MBA. you will attend evening sessions twice weekly (alternating each study year from Monday and Wednesdays to Tuesdays and Thursdays). You will be part of a single group of like-minded individuals, progressing through each of the three years at SBS.

For those keen to complete their studies under 3 years, then it is entirely possible to complete the Strathclyde MBA in 2 - 2.5 years. The fast-track option will involve project work being undertaken over the summer period, and attendance at full-time summer schools.

Overseas Study MBA:
International Centres - Bahrain, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Greece, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Oman, Singapore, Switzerland.
The Strathclyde MBA has been available outside the UK since 1988, and over 5000 participants have now graduated with a Strathclyde MBA. Currently, over 1600 are studying the programme in their own countries. The success is the result of a flexible learning delivery structure, that combines part-time, full-time and open learning modes of study. This approach allows participants to graduate within 2 years of starting the programme. However, study may be spread over a longer period if desired.

The international study method corresponds closely to our other study methods. It is assessed on the same basis and leads to exactly the same degree, the Strathclyde MBA.

Flexible Learning MBA:
The foundation of the Flexible Learning MBA is open learning. On joining the programme, you will be provided with a recommended study timetable, which would allow you to complete the Strathclyde MBA within 3 years. This timetable has been designed by our academic and support team, and aims to provide you with an ideal balance of home study, and attendance at weekend schools and intensive seminars, in Glasgow.

Along with the timetable, we will send you your first year of core learning materials and key text books, and provide full details of our on-line and tutor support programme.

Associate MBA Programme:
For those of you not yet ready to enrol on the Strathclyde MBA, but keen to experience formally elements of the syllabus, or for those of you keen to participate in a particular subject area, without any further commitment, then the Strathclyde Associate MBA Programme may offer the perfect solution.

By attending one or more of the Strathclyde MBA intensive seminars as an Associate course member, you can take the first step toward gaining an MBA qualification, or simply participate in a high quality learning experience with like-minded colleagues.
