New Hampton School-Accelerated English Language Program:
New Hampton School (NHS) is an independent, college preparatory school for boarding and day students in grades 9-12, as well as to post-graduate year students. We are offering an Accelerated English Language Program (AELP) in the summer in New Hampton in Belknap County in the state of New Hampshire (30 miles north of Concord, NH & 90 miles north of Boston). The Accelerated English Language program is an all-inclusive American English language and culture immersion for high school-age students. Through AELP, high school aged students are prepared to comprehend and speak American English through classes and summer activities. Students go beyond learning, enjoying the beauty of summer in New England. Choose a program from 2-6 weeks based on your schedule.

Accelerated English Language Program (AELP):

This all-American experience for international high school students balances academic rigor with summertime activity. The program provides a rich and demanding academic experience, but also the chance for focused high-achieving students to improve their English, make new friends, and taste the independence of American culture in a safe, nurturing comfortable, and supervised setting.

- 2-6 week programs available.
- An all-American English language and culture immersion program.
- Students are prepared to comprehend and speak American English through classes and summer activities.
- The program integrates reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics, and vocabulary. 
- Through instruction, active classroom participation, and carefully chosen activities, students will develop the language and study skills, as well as cultural awareness to prepare them for future American study.
- Special seminars on American boarding schools, colleges, application processes, and standard admission testing (SAT / ACT and TOEFL) are arranged to provide the insight for international students.

Language Promise:

During the Accelerated English Language Program, students are asked to commit to their language development. They do this my signing a "Language Promise." The Language Promise is a formal agreement to speak, listen to, read, and write only in English during all organized program activities. The commitment to learning is vital to helping students successfully internalize the English language. By participating in the "Promise," students become adept at using English learned in classes in their daily lives.

Accommodation & Meals:

Students will enjoy meals in the New Hampton School Memorial Hall Dining Room. Delicious and healthful meals including vegetarian options are served three times daily. Students will live alongside staff in our dormitory houses. A high staff to student ratio and constant availability and support promote positive language and personal development. Students are placed in house groups with a mixture of ages and nationalities.

Safety & Supervision:

Our team of experienced and knowledgeable staff supervises students 24 hours a day and interacts with them on many levels. Dormitory houses are secured and each student is issued a key to his or her room. New Hampton School employs overnight security for the campus to further promote safety on our campus.

Students are met at the airport by AELP staff wearing identifying T-shirts and carry identification. At the end of the program, students are accompanied to passport control or Unaccompanied Minors are escorted to departure gates.

Health Services:

All AELP students will be enrolled in the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan included with tuition. A registered nurse will be on call Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Saturday 7:30 AM to 12:00 and Sunday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Juguemos a Cantar, Brooklyn
Courses / Programs
With convenient locations in the North Slope and South Slope areas of Park Slope, Brooklyn NY, Juguemos a Cantar provides a range of Spanish language programs for kids and teens (ages 6 months to 17 years old). We offer summer Spanish camps, Spanish immersion preschool, after-school Spanish classes, Spanish language workshops and much more.

Juguemos a Cantar provides Spanish summer camps for young kids ages 2-8. Kids ages 2-4 attend camp at our North Slope location. Both full-day and half-day programs are available for 2-4 year olds.

Pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Graders attend camp at our South Slope location. We offer full-day programs only for this age group, with extended day until 6pm available at an additional fee.

In addition, we offer an after camp summer program for fully bilingual children from Pre-kindergarten to 4th Grade at our South Slope campus.

Taught entirely in Spanish by highly-qualified and experienced bilingual teachers and instructors, our summer camps provide a Spanish immersion environment while they enjoy enriching activities every day. Activities can include field trips, structured play, and/or workshops.

Our summer camps are designed to provide an environment where English-speaking children learn Spanish, and Spanish-speaking children further develop their language skills.

Phillips Exeter Academy Exeter Summer

Every summer, Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire welcomes to campus some 750 students for five weeks of academic study, athletics, and exploration that carry participants far beyond the classrooms and the playing fields. We offer day and residential programs to students from eight grade upwards from the US and overseas.

Our programs, THE UPPER SCHOOL—comprised of 450 students who have completed grades nine, ten, eleven, or twelve—and ACCESS EXETER®—comprised of 300 students who have completed grades seven or eight—provide a challenging academic curriculum for students. The Language Workshop for Children provides language instruction for young children in New York City.

In the LWFC’s Summer Camp-Like Enrichment Program 3 to 9 years old expand their French, Spanish, or Chinese through language immersion fun, costume days, baking, arts and crafts, theme days, birthday parties and more! And because they are being immersed and acquiring a new language naturally, youngsters start thinking in it, building sentences, and speaking in it. Best of all, flexible summer scheduling lets kids come and go and accommodates family vacations.

This Summer, the LWFC is also offering its regular educational play classes for babies, toddlers and children. Whether its Languages for Tots®, Language Immersion Family Preschool or Languages for Children, our flexible scheduling allows your child to keep learning French, Spanish, Chinese, or Italian throughout their summer break.

Summer Program at the HSBC Children's Garden at QBG
Courses / Programs
Located in Flushing, Queens NY, the HSBC Children’s Garden at Queens Botanical Garden provides hands-on summer gardening camps for kids ages 5-12. We aim to teach them about nature, gardens, and plants in a fun and engaging way, while they enjoy playing in this beautiful environment. We also offer spring and fall programs for young gardeners.

Our mission is to have the children learning by doing. All sessions combine practical gardening activities with environmental education. Enrollment is limited to 25-28 children, who are then divided into 3 groups, based on their age and abilities. We allocate one supervising counselor and two or three interns to each group, so you can be assured that your child will get the individual attention they need.
Summer gardening camps held in July & August for kids ages 5-12. Held 2 days a week from 9am to 4pm. Your child can attend on Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Your child is welcome to:

BlueStamp Engineering (BSE), New York, San Francisco & Houston
Courses / Programs
BlueStamp Engineering (BSE) is a hands-on summer engineering program for high school students that takes place in New York City, Houston TX, and San Francisco CA. Designed by industry professionals, this 6-week program aims to to show high school students the world of engineering first-hand. Our goal is to teach how to build devices that students are passionate about and show them that creating things is a blast!

Students build an individual project from concept to prototype under the supervision of an experienced engineering staff. They will complete a working prototype, full engineering documentation, and a webpage which all help showcase their abilities during college/job applications and interviews. Example projects include solar powered phones, wind turbines, advanced lighting systems, and robotics. Projects can be selected from over 100 BSE suggestions, or students can suggest their own project.

While the main focus of the program is on completing projects, it is supplemented with guest speakers, brief lectures, an entrepreneurship curriculum, and a Maker Faire exhibit where possible. These extra aspects to the program show students what a career in engineering is really like, and the diverse opportunities such a career offers.
