Online & In-Class Wine Courses

Capital Vin:
Capital Vin are professionnals of wine knowledge and also wine makers in Languedoc (South of France). We established our wine school 5 years ago offering courses for those in charge of referencing, advising and selling wine. Our Learning Director is an Oenologist and also a Tasting Teacher. We work with specialists in wine marketing and selling, Sommeliers and provide online and in-person courses for big distribution companies, beverage distribution companies, hotel groups. and more.

Online Program:
In this online programme, you'll learn the following subjects (in French):

- The Wine World: history and culture, wine skills, French law, how to read and undertand a label...

- The art of Winemaking, the main steps of vinification in every type of wine and colours...

- The theory of Wine Tasting
- The correct words to speak about wine
- The different and typical Wine types and how to identify them correctly
- Wine Service and matching with food: main rules
- Wine advising and selling: online training in professional and interactive situations
- Final Quiz for validation with at least 70% of success

In-class Courses:
After succeeding to the final online Quiz, one can be interested in learning the art of wine tasting. It is necessary to provide this training through physical courses, which are given in several places in France or in any country when a sufficent group justify it -  for example, if a company wishes to train it's sales staff and can register at least 20 students. The groups can have up to 50 students. Programs and timing are defined according to the company aims. The teaching language is French or English. For example, the objective can be to give the team a good practice of the particular wine range of the company, giving it useful tips to sell better and more, therefore increasing the turnover and profitability.
