The Cambridge University ESOL CELTA Certificate is an introductory TEFL course in teaching English for candidates who have little or no previous English Language teaching experience. It may also be suitable for candidates with some TEFL experience but little previous teacher training.
CELTA is an ELT (English Language Teaching) certificate, which encompasses TESL (i.e. Teaching English as Second Language) and TEFL (i.e. Teaching English as Foreign Language).

Guadalajara has a very vibrant nightlife and social scene, and is Mexico’s second city.
It is the birthplace of many things for which Mexico is recognized on an international level. Tequila and Mariachi music both have their routes in the state of Jalisco. During your stay you can sample both the old and the new, from nearby archaeological sites to the historic downtown and famous cathedral to the bustling shopping malls such as ‘Plaza Andares’ and ‘Plaza Galerias’. At the ‘hospicio cabañas’ a series of monumental frescoes depicting Mexico’s revolution bring the history of the city to life.
If arts and crafts are your thing you can while away many an hour in the markets and stores of Tlaquepaque and Tonalá. In the neighborhoods of Chapultepec and the colonia Americana, you can enjoy a bohemian atmosphere, with many great restaurants and watering holes to refresh you after a long day’s study.
Guadalajara has a very vibrant nightlife and social scene; the weather is perfect, never dropping below 10 degrees C at night and maxing out at 35 in the summer and 25 in the winter; it is relatively close to the beach and surrounded by forests and mountain ranges; there are a lot of job opportunities for teachers of English once they have completed their CELTA.
The CELTA training centre in Guadalajara is in the Vallarta district, nearby the Parroquia Maria Madre de Cristo, with many eateries close by to choose from. Our school includes:

TESOL International Mexico is located in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, one of the most welcoming and hospitable towns in Mexico, in the highlands of the southern Mexican state of Chiapas.
