Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University:
Based in Dubai, Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) provides both academic and professional development courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level to students in the UAE and from around the world. We offer a range of diploma courses, bachelor's degrees and masters programs in fields including business, management, Islamic banking and finance, and public health among many others. In addition, we offer a PhD program.

HBMeU adopts a blended learning approach in the delivery of its various programs and courses. The blend combines the benefits of face-to-face learning, online collaboration and self-paced learning. The online collaboration usually takes place in both a synchronous and asynchronous mode through the use of advanced technologies. The self-paced learning component of the blend is the part through which learners take responsibility for their learning and relies on the use of various support material prepared by the university and facilitated by the instructor such as: online interactive course material, study books, recorded master classes, text books, etc.

Our mission is to be the University of Choice in the Arab World in shaping the future of education and learning through innovative solutions. HBMeU prides itself on being named after H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and HBMeU President.

HBMeU was inaugurated in 2002, as the only institution with an e-learning platform in the UAE, thanks to a strategic initiative with an aim to encourage the interest, uptake and application of TQM (Total Quality Management) thinking in the Arab world through innovative, affordable and accessible means. HBMeU has provided learning opportunities to all those individuals aspiring to specialize in quality management and to those associated with its implementation and management in various sectors of the economy.

A gateway to online services uniquely designed to meet the needs of HBMeU learners, e-Campus, University’s unique virtual learning environment, provides a friendly platform where learners find all information about, apply to and enroll in HBMeU courses and programs.It enables them to log in to the virtual classroom, and manage their course materials and schedule. Moreover, e-Campus features easy-to-use interactive communication tools, and gives learners an instant access to many invaluable resources like e-library, e-mail, and other web 2.0 tools such as blogs, wikis. The e-Campus can also be accessed via mobile devices for on-the-go learners.

e-CAPS Portal:
The e-CAPS (electronic Career Advising & Placement Services) online portal provides learners with a wide range of career-related guidance, resources and services. Services offered include a set of personality and ability self-assessment tests which can help in exploring their interests, personalities, work values, skills, and in finding the majors and careers that are most suited for them.
