Australasian College of Natural Therapies:
The Australasian College of Natural Therapies (ACNT) is Australia's premier college of natural therapies and beauty therapy located in the heart of Sydney. ACNT offers over 80 natural therapies courses, manual therapy courses and natural beauty therapy courses and also offer our courses through distance education. This enables students who are not able to attend classes on campus due to geography, health issues or work commitments to take advantage of Australia's leading online learning platform for health and wellbeing education.

Certificate IV in Aromatherapy:
The Certificate IV in Aromatherapy course provides a broad base in aromatherapy and covers the principles and application of aromatherapy as well as the underlying science. The course takes a maximum of 1 year to complete by distance learning and can be completed earlier based on intensity of study.

Students will learn the history and principles of aromatherapy, the pharmacology and chemistry of essential oils, their actions, indications and contraindications and aromatherapy massage. They will also learn anatomy and physiology, basic pathology and symptomatology.

Career Outcome:
On successful completion of the course, students are qualified to practice as aromatherapists. If they wish, they can proceed to the Diploma of Aromatherapy and the Advanced Diploma of Aromatherapy also offered by ACNT.
