Russian is spoken as the first language by over 160 million people mostly in Russia and states having belonged to the Soviet Republic. Russian is one of the official languages of the United Nations and an important business and trading language in the countries of the former Soviet Republic. It is a Slavic language with Ukrainian and Belarusian its closest relations. Russian is an important cultural language and many literary masterpieces have been written in Russian. Russian uses the Cyrillic alphabet, which is based on the Greek alphabet with some Hebrew letters to represent sounds alien to the Greek writing system.

SeattleLanguages International is one of few language schools in Seattle specializing in many foreign languages. We firmly believe that learning a foreign language helps forge relationships between people of different cultures. We want to offer the opportunity of learning Russian to people of all ages at affordable rates. We teach group classes & private lessons to adults, children & corporations.

We offer Russian language classes at 6 levels including Conversational Intro. We also offer Traveler's classes:

Our language instructors focus on improving conversational skills using role plays, discussions, stimulating speaking activities, grammar and vocabulary. Most of our classes are taught once per week for 2 hours each time.

Tuition fees for our Russian language programs are as follows:
- Group lessons cost around 10 - 12 USD / hour
- Private lessons:
35 USD /hour - 1student
45 USD /hour - 2 students
60 USD /hour - 3 students
