PROGRAMS
Intensive Speaking & Listening class - 2 periods
This program is focused on increasing confidence, fluency and communication skills in everyday English, and is suitable for all ESL students.  The main focus is speaking and listening, but grammar, reading, and writing tasks are included.

Intensive Reading & Writing class - 2 periods
Intensive Reading & Writing develops the student’s reading skills enabling them to become a more confident reader. Students learn writing strategies to be able to communicate ideas more clearly in writing for academic and professional purposes. These skills are critical to success in TOEFL and IELTS.

Intensive TOEFL Test Preparation - 2 periods
Level: Advanced (Speaking & Listening and Reading & Writing ALPS Levels 4 and up)
This program focuses on how to effectively navigate the four sections of the TOEFL Next Generation iBT*: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. ALPS offers 2 levels of TOEFL Test Preparation class, an intensive introduction for students who are new to TOEFL, and a high level class for students who are familiar with the TOFEL test but need to focus on increasing their score in one or more of the disciplines.

Special Topic - 1 period
Classes focus on improving specific communication skills ranging from pronunciation, focused discussion, professional English, and building cultural awareness.

Some examples:
- Business English (Level: Intermediate - Advanced) - Build knowledge, confidence, and cultural competence in a wide range of professional situations.
- Professional English: Job Interview Skills (Level: 4 and up) - Engage in intensive vocabulary and speaking practice as you prepare to demonstrate your skills confidently in an English-language job interview.
- IELTS Test Preparation (Level: 4 and up) - Increase your IELTS* scores in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking by learning specific tips, skills, and test-taking strategies that will improve your writing, vocabulary, and overall ability to structure and express your ideas in English.
- Pronunciation (Level: All) - Speak and understand English more clearly: improve fluency and expression by learning how native speakers connect, reduce, and nuance their speech.
- English Conversation (Level: All) - 
General English discussion class focusing on everyday topics: improve oral communication skills while increasing confidence in expressing feelings, ideas and opinions.

Private Class - 1 period
Private classes provide intensive practice. The teacher plans an individual curriculum based on the student’s goals.
