Our programmes are focused on advancing your education rather than just practicing the level that you are at! This is why our main semester programmes are divided into two stages:
Stage I - to bring the Pre-Intermediate student to Intermediate level.
Stage II - to progress the Intermediate student to Advanced level.
Topics include Sentence Structure, Tenses, Conditionals, Modal Verbs, Gender, Articles, Prepositions, Clauses, Phrasal Verbs, Conjunctions, Reported Speech, Quantifiers, Idioms and metaphors, comparatives as well as a few unique topics of our own!
Our semesters include a wide exposure to how English is used in the everyday world always relating the students development to how a native speaker has learnt to speak English. Lessons are never boring where students are taught language as if it's a science, but rather varied, interesting and fun and helping students to understand what language is and how to use it.
Our other shorter programmes for those not able to stay for a semester, offer focused teaching on key areas that the student needs either in business English, English for academic purposes, English for employment or in preparing for the FCE, CAE and IELTS exams. We're proud to boast an 85% pass rate success so far in these courses.

English Language Camp Ireland

• English Language immersion course for students aged 12 to 17 in County Sligo in the beautiful West of Ireland!• The programme consists of 3 hours of English tuition each morning. Afternoons are filled with a choice of fun activities including Kayaking, Horse-Riding, Cookery Lessons, Irish Dancing and Zip-Lines in the local forest park!
• Our course is also attended by Irish teenagers who act as Student Guides for our international students. The Irish teenagers attend activities and live with the students in our lakeside accommodation to ensure they have an enjoyable language learning holiday.
• Evenings are spent relaxing and include English movie nights, Quizzes, Board games, table tennis competitions etc.
• English Language Camp Ireland takes place on Lough Arrow in the west of Ireland. The residential accommodation is located on the shores of one of Ireland's most beautiful lakes.
• Our unique weekend excursion takes students to a remote island on the lake where our students along with Irish teenagers, teachers and activity leaders camp overnight.

International House Dublin

Located in Dublin's city centre, our English Language School is a member of the International House World Organisation, one of the largest English language teaching and TEFL organisations in the world. Our students come first and we are always ready to make that extra effort to ensure that our students enjoy and benefit fully from their language programme. Established in 1998, IH Dublin is recognised by the Irish Department of Education as a Language School for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language. We also offer a 9 month University Foundation Programme starting in September and an intensive 6 month course starting in January. It is designed to ensure that, on successful completion, students gain entry to a university degree course at top Irish and UK universities. Specially designed to prepare students for an undergraduate course in Engineering, Law, Business Studies or Accounting and Finance.

International Summer School - Galway

The International Summer School at National University of Ireland, Galway offers a number of English Language Summer courses General English at Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency Levels and Business and Executive English. These courses are not designed for beginners. Students must be 18 years or over, and must already have at least elementary standard. Studying in Galway will give students an opportunity to improve their English in the attractive environment of the West of Ireland. Classes will be restricted in size appropriate to intensive English language tuition. The courses are structured to cover grammar, conversation/culture and listening comprehension. Student participation is encouraged through topic-based communicative activities - debates, discussions, role- play, reports and presentation on such topics as modern society; the media, advertising, politics, the arts, etc. On-campus accommodation is available.

The SLC is a small and personal language school located just outside Wexford town in the southeast of Ireland. We are set in a castle building overlooking the river Slaney and the Blackstairs Mountains. We specialise in courses for adults and families.With a maximum of 8 and an average of 5 students, groups are small and teaching is student centred. Our fully qualified tutors have had many years of teaching experience in Ireland and abroad and are motivated and enthusiastic. The SLC is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year in June with many specials planned for everybody around.
