Network+ 2009 Certification Program:
Course Duration: 4 weeks
Network+ is a certification commonly used to measure skill as a network technician. It is also used to prepare students for continuing to Microsoft certifications and Cisco certifications.
This course provides a thorough knowledge of networking essentials and prepares you for the CompTIA Network+ Certification Examination.
It covers the areas of network architecture, network installation, network operating systems, topologies, protocols especially TCP/IP, upgrading, network securities, managing user accounts and passwords, remote access and administration, troubleshooting, and fault tolerance and disaster recovery.
This course will teach you how to:
- Plan and support network and computing infrastructure
- Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks
- Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam
- Monitor system performance and implements performance tuning
- Document network problems and resolution for future reference
