Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles:
Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles provides beginner to advanced level Korean language classes to adult students. Our school is situated on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles, just 5 minutes west of Downtown LA.
Korean Language Courses for Adults:
- Basic Beginner to Advanced levels
Courses run for 10 weeks per session. We have 4 sessions a year (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall session)
Introductory Korean:
This level is designed for students who have never studied the Korean language. Students will acquire knowledge of the Korean writing system, Hangeul, the phonological characteristics, vocabulary and basic expressions.
Basic A:
Introduction to the basic skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening with attention to selected aspects of Korean culture.
Basic B:
This class introduces a higher level of basic grammar, vocabulary and language structure, which allow the students to be more confident in speaking and writing Korean.
Intermediate A:
The goal of the course is that students acquire intermediate communicative skills in Korean in all areas; listening, speaking, reading and writing
Intermediate B:
In this class, students will expand their knowledge of intermediate grammar, vocabulary and complex language structure. This class will help students become comfortable speakers and writers.
Intermediate C:
In this class, students will review what was taught in the Intermediate B class while learning a higher intermediate level of grammar, vocabulary and language structure.
Advanced A:
The primary objective of this course is to improve the learners' four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Advanced B:
The objective in this level is to improve communicative skills, learn complex grammar patterns and different speech styles.
