Mes Premiers Pas en Francais offers French classes for toddlers aged between 1 - 4 in the Alexandria area of Virginia. Our French lessons are based around interactive play through the use of puppets, felt board figures, singing and story telling to keep children involved in the class.
We offer French classes for toddlers aged between 1-4 accompanied by parent / caregiver.
Exposing children to a second language early in their lives has been shown to improve listening skills and help kids of all ages understand different cultures around the world, resulting in lifelong benefits. Children are encouraged to participate in the class through a "structured fun play-based" setting to boost language retention.Classes are primarily based around interactive play through the use of puppets and felt board figures but also include singing and story telling to keep children involved in the class. All of the classes are total immersion, theme-based and taught by a native speaker. Children learn numbers, colors, shapes, body parts, clothes, foods, the alphabet, days of the week, weather/seasons, habitats/life cycles, things around the house, things that move, and the names/sounds of instruments through nature-based themes.
