The Culinary Arts program at HRC Culinary Academy is a dynamic two-year / four-semester / education that prepares students for exciting careers in the international hotel and culinary industry.

Chef Instructors:
The academy’s chef instructors have earned their credits in the culinary field. They are able to enthusiastically explain and demonstrate cooking techniques which will motivate students to develop their skills.

HRC Culinary Academy program is taught in English and offers an integrated culinary program in a modular design, executed by top international chef and teachers. The content of every module will be taught and practiced with attention to the following cornerstones of the curriculum:

1. Culinary operations within the frame work of the F&B department;
2. Finances in the world of F&B;
3. Leading people in the F&B department;
4. Leading myself as a professional in culinary arts.

The first semester & the third semester students train at our facilities in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia.

Sofia is Bulgaria’s capital and with a population of around 2 million people. It is located in western Bulgaria, at the foot of Mount Vitosha and approximately at the centre of the Balkan Peninsula.

HRC Culinary Academy’s two paid industry placements at renowned restaurants in Europe and USA are valuable extension to the training at the Academy that provide the students a chance to utilize their knowledge and skills and learn how to work in a team with culinary professionals.
During the two industry placements, our students are exposed to real-life situations in the kitchen and practice and enhance their knowledge and skills. During these terms, they are guided and evaluated by a mentor of the organization in which the industry placement takes place. And the students receive a salary according to the standards of the country where they are working.
