South Bay Massage College is an accredited massage therapist training school located in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles County in Southern California. Our massage therapy certification program is 125 hours of education plus 50 hours of spa internship, totaling 175 hours. Subjects covered include Swedish massage, anatomy, nutrition, reflexology, hygiene and hands-on lab practice. You can become qualified to take the national massage certification exam after completing the required 500 hours of massage education. We also have a wide range of advanced massage courses available including sports massage, deep tissue massage, shiatsu and many others.
Our Internship Spa allows our students to gain hands-on experience performing massages on the public. We have over 700 massages each month at our beautiful intern spa. Our spa is open 7 days a week so there are many shifts available in the morning, mid-day, evening and weekend hours so it’s very flexible.
Our main campus is located 5 blocks from the beach. Our spa is just 2 blocks to the beach so you can walk down to beach or pier during your breaks. Ample free parking is available.

The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) is located in San Francisco, California. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an ancient and profound healing art that originated more than 3,000 years ago. It comprises a number of therapeutic practices—among them Chinese herbology, acupuncture, nutrition, Tai Ji Quan and Qigong—that have long-proven efficacy in treating a wide range of disease conditions. Our two degree programs—the Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM) and the Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM)—provide a truly exceptional professional education. We are dedicated to providing excellent comprehensive education in a balanced curriculum of science, holistic healing theories, and practical clinical experience. COBHA offers a 400 hour Aromatherapy Practitioner Certification Program which is state certified and entitles successful graduates to add CEOT (Certified Essential Oil Therapist) after their name. This state-certified program has two levels of training. We also offer a Level One Correspondence Course to take from home and most classes are delivered via Webcam. We are in the process of being accepted by the US Immigrations Department to accept international students.
