MCPHS has expanded to include two additional campuses, located in Worcester, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire.

MCPHS-Boston’s modern, urban campus is located in the heart of the world-renowned Longwood Medical Area. This dynamic locale provides students with academic and clinical experiences at some of the most prestigious medical and research institutions in the world.

A brand new facility, the Richard E. Griffin Academic Center, opened in January 2009. The striking, six-story, triangular building contains nearly 50,000 square feet of classrooms, faculty and staff offices, teaching laboratories, a technology center, a 230-seat auditorium and a top floor multi-function room with views of Downtown Boston.

Directions To The Boston Campus:

Access to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) by public transportation is convenient and easy. Since the college is centrally located there are multiple options of transportation to the campus. MCPHS is also easily accessible by car. On-street parking is extremely limited, however there are a number of parking garages in the immediate vicinity.

By Public Transportation:
MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority — The "T") maps and schedules

- MBTA Subway:
Preferred route: this route stops closest to MCPHS. On the Green Line, take the Heath Street ‘E’ trolley to the Longwood/Medical Area stop. Cross Huntington Avenue, walking towards Massachusetts College of Art and the Longwood Medical and Academic Area. Walk down Longwood Avenue to MCPHS at 179 Longwood Avenue. NOTE: This is the closest T stop to MCPHS.

On the Green Line, take the Riverside 'D' trolley to the Longwood stop. Walk up Chapel Street and take a left onto Longwood Avenue. Cross over the bridge and continue walking down Longwood Avenue — you will pass two Starbucks and Children’s Hospital before reaching MCPHS at 179 Longwood Avenue.

On the Orange Line, take the train to Ruggles Station and Bus 8 to the Avenue Louis Pasteur / Longwood Avenue stop. Take a left onto Longwood Avenue. MCPHS is at 179 Longwood Avenue.

- MBTA Bus:
On the Central Square-Albany Street route, take Bus 47 to Avenue Louis Pasteur/Longwood. Take a left onto Longwood Avenue. MCPHS is at 179 Longwood Avenue.

On the Kenmore Square-Boston City Hospital route, take Bus 47A to Avenue Louis Pasteur / Longwood. Please see above for additional directions.
On the Chestnut Hill-Kenmore Station route, take Bus 60 to Brookline Avenue/Longwood. Please see above for additional directions.

On the Brighton Center-Kenmore Station route, take Bus 65 to Brookline Avenue/Longwood. Please see above for additional directions.

On the Harvard Square-Dudley Station route, take Bus 66 to Brigham Circle. Walk down Huntington Avenue towards the Longwood Medical and Academic Area. Please see above for additional directions.

- MBTA Commuter Rail:
Use commuter rail service to South Station, North Station, Back Bay, or Ruggles to connect to subway or bus.

By Car:
- From the North and Logan Airport:
Take Route 1 South, I-93 South or (from Logan) the Sumner Tunnel. Take the Storrow Drive exit. Follow Storrow Drive West and take the left exit to ‘Kenmore Square/Fenway/1 South’. Bear to the left on the exit ramp toward ‘Fenway/1 South’, then immediately get in the right lane. Follow the sign for ‘Boylston Street/Outbound’. Continue on Boylston Street to Brookline Avenue (go straight through the intersection with Exxon on your left and D’Angelo’s on your right). Continue on Brookline and take a left onto Longwood Avenue at the third set of traffic lights (after Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center). Continue on Longwood Avenue for four blocks to MCPHS at 179 Longwood Avenue.

- From the South and Cape Cod:
Take Route I-95 North, Route 24 North, or Route 3 North to Route I-93 (Southeast Expressway). Take exit 18 towards Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury. Go straight up the ramp and at the third set of traffic lights turn left towards Massachusetts Avenue. At the next set of traffic lights, proceed straight onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. Follow Melnea Cass Boulevard to the end and turn left onto Tremont Street. Immediately get into the right lane and turn right onto Ruggles Street (at the Boston Police Headquarters). At the fourth set of traffic lights turn left onto Huntington Avenue (crossing the trolley tracks). At the second set of traffic lights turn right onto Longwood Avenue. MCPHS will be on your right at 179 Longwood Avenue.

- From the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90):
Take Route 90 to Exit 22, Prudential Center/Copley Square. Bear left in tunnel to the Prudential exit, which leads directly to Huntington Avenue (Route 9). Continue on Huntington Avenue for approximately two miles. Turn right onto Longwood Avenue- MCPHS is at 179 Longwood Avenue.

- From Route 9:
Take Route 9 East through Brookline Village. Turn left onto Brookline Avenue (at the Gulf Station). Continue on Brookline Avenue and turn right onto Longwood Avenue at the fifth set of traffic lights. MCPHS is at 179 Longwood Avenue.
