Hamilton College, located in Clinton (90 minutes west of Albany), New York, is a private, independent, liberal arts college offering Bachelor of Arts degree programs. Hamilton expects students to take responsibility for their educational choices. For this reason, Hamilton does not have distribution requirements, which are found at nearly every other American college and university.
