Hamilton College:
Hamilton College, located in Clinton (90 minutes west of Albany), New York, is a private, independent, liberal arts college offering Bachelor of Arts degree programs. Hamilton expects students to take responsibility for their educational choices. They will be counseled and supported by teachers and advisors, but the ultimate responsibility, just as the ultimate growth, will be the student's. For this reason, Hamilton does not have distribution requirements, which are found at nearly every other American college and university. Hamilton's 1,300-acre campus is situated on a hilltop overlooking the picturesque village of Clinton. The College is eight miles southwest of Utica, 45 minutes east of Syracuse, one hour from the Adirondack Park to the northeast and 90 minutes west of Albany.

NYIT School of Education

New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) School of Education offers a range of Teacher and Administrator Education Degree & Certificate programs from our two main New York campuses (Old Westbury and Manhattan), and at several partnership sites in the New York metropolitan region. In addition, some courses and programs are offered online or using state-of-the-art videoconferencing. The School was officially formed in 1991 and was built on a foundation of programs in teacher education and educational technology that existed at NYIT since the early 1970's. Today, it has grown to include preparatory and advanced professional study for P-12 teachers, school counselors, school building leaders, educational technologists and professional trainers.
