The Open University of Japan:
The Open University of Japan (OUJ) provides undergraduate and graduate distance learning courses to students living in Japan. Courses are taught in Japanese via broadcast / distance learning lectures and schooling workshops in more than 3,000 study centers throughout Japan.

The Open University of Japan (OUJ) was founded in 1983 by the Open University of Japan Foundation, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
