Online / Distance Learning Master of Business Administration (MBA):

The programme is aimed at intelligent, highly motivated managers who wish to equip themselves with the essential business and management skills required in the increasingly competitive, diverse and dynamic business environment.

Duration:  The distance learning MBA can be completed in 2-6 years. On average, students take 3 years to complete the programme.

Distance learning students are not required to attend any sessions at the university. However students are welcome to attend a 2 day on-site MBA induction session in either September or January. Further to this, students can chose to study up to 3 modules (each running over 3-5 days) at the School of Management or at any one of our partner institutions in the Netherlands, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai for no extra cost (other than travel and subsistence costs).

Compulsory Cycle 1 (Modules for the distance-learning MBA):

- Business Economics
- Business Accounting
- Operations Management
- Marketing
- Managing People
- Managerial and Professional Development
- Business Research
- Business Ethics and Sustainability
- Corporate Finance

Elective Cycle 2 (Modules for the distance-learning MBA):
Once you have gained the required managerial skills and knowledge during Cycle 1 of your studies you will then be required to complete four Cycle 2 modules. There are a total of nine Cycle 2 modules to choose from for those studying purely by distance learning, these are:

- Marketing Communications
- International Business Strategy
- Project Management
- International Financial Management
- Management of Change
- Entrepreneurship
- Managing International Business in Emerging Economies
- Management Leadership

If you decide to study a Cycle 2 module(s) at Bradford or at a partner institute, a number of alternative modules will be available (e.g. Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Marketing).

Assessment:
Your knowledge and understanding of each subject area studied will be assessed by the most appropriate means. This will typically involve the completion of a written assignment, an exam or in some cases an assignment and an exam. If you need to sit an exam we have approved examination centres worldwide, making it highly likely that there is an exam centre near you. Please note, if you do not sit the exam at the Bradford School of Management or RDI Coventry you will have to pay an extra fee to your chosen examination centre.
