Accademia Italiana, Florence & Rome:
With campuses in Florence and Rome, Accademia Italiana is a leading international college of art and design that provides artistic and professional training at a university and post-secondary level to students from all over Italy and from around the world. Subject fields include fashion design, jewelry design, interior design, graphic design & visual communications, photography, drawing and painting, and more. You do not need to speak Italian in order to attend the Accademia Italiana.

Courses Taught in English & Italian:
Eligibility for a program is not dependent on your Italian language skills. Many courses are taught in both English and Italian. Some courses are taught only in Italian but by instructors who can also speak English to assist students. Italian classes are offered as part of your program. You will take four 3-credit courses per semester, plus Italian language for 4 credits.

Accreditation:

The university degrees awarded upon successful completion of our 3-year programs are validated by the prestigious University of Wales, a leading UK university. Our 3-year programs are dual qualfication courses; On successful graduation you earn a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Wales as well as an advanced diploma from Accademia Italiana.

Our art courses and Italian language and culture courses have been authorized by the Italian Ministry of Public Education.

The Accademia Italiana Rome campus is conveniently located just a few steps away from the Trastevere train station in a lively, commercial area near to the historic center of the Eternal City. Our modern facilities include computer laboratories, art studio, workshops for sewing and pattern design, classrooms with audio-visual equipment, reading room, as well as large multi-use spaces and an art gallery.

Florence:
Our main headquarters are situated in Piazza Pitti, directly across from the Pitti Palace in Florence. Famous landmarks close to the school include Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, the Cathedral, Piazza della Signoria and all the other monuments of this magnificent Renaissance city.

Courses / Programs
The Istituto Internazionale di Studi Classici di Orvieto in Orvieto, Italy, is a fully accredited study abroad program for spring, summer and fall semesters. Its focus is on classical studies, Roman and Etruscan archaeology and art, and archaeological excavation. Studio Art and Architecture classes are also offered in the summer.
