There is good transport access between the city and university and there is a range of affordable rental accommodation available nearby. Mount Lawley has on-campus accommodation and a range of private apartments and houses available.

The city boasts hundreds of restaurants and cafes, cinemas, nightclubs, and music venues as well as great shopping! The warm sunny climate is also perfect for sporting and leisure activities.
As part of ECU, Mt Lawley campus, WAAPA students also enjoy access to the facilities and resources Edith Cowan University provides. These include collaborative opportunities with Schools such as Contemporary Arts, and the School of Communications and Multimedia, access to computing laboratories, guild shops and services, refectories, libraries and student housing.
