The school was founded in 1992 as Escuela de idiomas Violeta Parra, and has been a member of TANDEM-International - a network of quality schools - adapting the Name Tandem Santiago in 1996. In 2003 we were awarded with the Excellence Award. This certifies the permanently high customer satisfaction of our students. All our Spanish courses are certified by th chilean Universidad Bolivariana. This gives our courses the certification for getting university credits at your hoem university. Since 2008 we are recognized by the Instituto Cervantes as official DELE (Diploma Español Lengua Extranjera) examination Center.

Pichilemu Institute of Language Studies (PILS) is a unique Spanish language school offering intensive and non-intensive Spanish courses in Chile's surfing capital, Pichilemu.
